On life's journey, we each have our own path. But some walk with passion, purpose, and optimism. Our founder, Testoni, was such a person. At TESTONI, we believe that embracing authenticity and letting your inner light shine brings confidence as you pursue your passions.
Testoni honed his craft in Bologna, the shoemaking hub, mastering its secrets by age 24. In 1929, he opened his workshop, blending style and craftsmanship to reflect his confidence. Confidence isn't a destination but a lifelong pursuit. For 95 years, we've elevated our art, pushing style boundaries and inventing techniques like the Piuma Rapid, creating feather-light shoes of unmatched comfort.
Each creation bearing our founder’s name is handcrafted from the finest materials, blending tradition and innovation. Always exquisitely crafted and timeless, our shoes exude confidence. Today, Testoni’s dream has a global reach, offering luxury footwear in EMEA, the US, and Asia, including China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, and through our online store.
Our journey continues with new techniques, looks, and markets. As you continue yours, let our masterpieces empower you to make every step count with confidence and joy.
The Piuma Rapid construction, with nearly 200 manual steps, epitomizes Testoni’s craftsmanship. It ensures comfort, waterproofness, temperature control, and lightness. The seamless interior provides a smooth insole and flexibility. The sole features a feather engraving, showcasing AMEDEO TESTONI’s quality.
Special attention to detail is the essence of the Testoni savoir-faire. Among the creations are the footwear made using the spiral technique, a process consisting of a leather detail woven around a string that contours the sole.
Commonly known as piping, this flexible leather insert bonds the upper’s components without overlapping, marking the leather’s shape. It symbolizes Testoni’s unparalleled craftsmanship and refined details, combining beauty and functionality.
A traditional construction in which the upper is stitched inside out and then turned around to hide the stitching inside the shoe. A special process that provides softness and elegance to the shoe.
This traditional construction involves a special lining of very soft goatskin that fits the foot like a glove, providing noticeable elasticity at the front of the shoe.
Norwegian construction, a complex shoemaking technique, starts after shaping the upper to the last. Two seams are stitched: one binds the upper to the insole, the other to the sole, creating a durable, braided edge that ensures a robust, long-lasting shoe.
